Paint & Sip

A classic girls’ night in that everyone adores! You can plan Valentine’s-themed painting ideas or let your guests freestyle—it’s totally up to you.

Here’s what you’ll need for your setup:

  • Wooden easels (9 inches, 4 pack)
  • Canvases (9×12 stretched, pack of 8)
  • Acrylic paints
  • Paintbrushes
  • Water cups

I found a paint set that comes with wooden easels, 10″ canvas boards, paint, and brushes—all in one convenient package. If you’re looking for something smaller, mini canvases ( 4×4″) with their own mini easels are perfect and so cute(these don’t come with the paint or brushes). These sets make the most sense for larger groups since they save you from the hassle of buying everything separately.

In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, consider using pink wide-mouth mason jars or rose-pink glass jars as water cups. They double as cute table décor when you place the paintbrushes in them at each station. You can even tie a ribbon or twine around each jar to match your theme!

If you’re worried about the mess of traditional painting, try acrylic paint markers instead. They’re easy to use, less messy, and versatile—you can even use them for painting on fabric! If canvases feel overdone, switch things up by painting canvas tote bags and let guests create their own personalized designs.

Of course, no paint and sip is complete without your favorite cocktails, mocktails, finger foods, and a playlist that sets the perfect vibe!

Glass Painting

This craft is much less messy than traditional painting, making it a great option for a more laid-back craft night. Start by picking the type of glassware you want to decorate—you can literally customize anything, like:

  • Wine glasses
  • Stemless wine glasses
  • Shot glasses
  • Mason jars

Shop the collage here.

Once you’ve chosen your glassware, all you need are acrylic paint markers designed for glass. They’re super versatile, so you can reuse them for future craft nights and projects.

For extra decorations, tie ribbons or twine around your mason jars after painting for a festive touch. Want to add a personalized twist? You can have your guests make their own wine glass charms using beads, wire hoops, and charms—it’s an easy craft that adds flair to their glasses and doubles as a keepsake!

Make Heart shaped pizzas

What’s better than crafting? Crafting and eating! A heart-shaped pizza station is the perfect addition to your Valentine’s-themed girls’ night—it’s interactive, fun, and delicious.

For the dough, you can keep it simple with a basic mix of all-purpose flour, salt, and quick yeast. Or, use pre-made dough or store-bought pizza crusts to save time. Once the dough is ready, shape them or cut them into a heart shape, and set up a toppings bar, using fresh ingredients like:

  • Fresh basil or arugula for a pop of green
  • Mozzarella and shredded cheese blends
  • Pepperoni and veggies (use cookie cutters to make heart-shaped toppings!)

Pro Tip: Use heart-shaped bowls for the toppings bar, use small ones for toppings like olives, onions, and herbs. Larger ones for the cheese, pepperoni and veggies. to make everything feel extra festive! You can pre-cut some heart-shaped toppings to make it easier, but leaving out a few cookie cutters lets guests get hands-on if they want.

Pair your pizza with a simple side salad or a heart-shaped charcuterie board for a fun and festive spread. For a sweet twist, offer a dessert pizza option with Nutella, strawberries, and sprinkles!

Lip Balm Charms

This one is super easy and fun, plus your friends will leave with something they’ll actually use! Start by picking your favorite lip balm—Summer Fridays, Laneige, Torriden(I’m totally obsessed right now), or Aquaphor, are all great options. Your friends can bring their own, or you can provide it for them so they can have a fresh new one. Totally up to you.

All you need to do is carefully poke a small hole in the corner of the tube using a thumbtack or something sharp. Then, decorate it with a keychain ring or lanyard snap hooks and some cute charms or beads. I personally love these heart charms, evil eye heart charms, and these heart beads. You can make a little “handle” using stretchy string (which is softer and easier to tie), or have separate beads dangling freely. Be sure to use string glue to keep the knots secure so nothing falls apart!

This is relatively simple and fast craft. So you might want to consider adding in other crafts maybe like making paper valentines day cards, or just have another activity to do like watch a movie, or something.

Charm Jewelry

Forget the typical friendship bracelets—this is a more elevated experience! As the host, you can decide if your guests will create bracelets, necklaces, or both, using beautiful gold chain bases and plenty of charms to customize their pieces.

What you’ll need:

  • Gold chain bracelet and necklace bases
  • Decorative chains to make more jewelry (can be more customizable, and is totally optional)
  • Charms (hearts, valentines themes 1, valentines themes 2, initials, & a mix bag)
  • Jump rings and clasps (this one also comes with some tools)
  • Jewelry pliers

Set up a chic jewelry-making station where everyone can mix and match chains, choose their favorite charms, and create their own personalized accessories. For better organization, I would just have the ready made chain bracelets or necklaces ready to decorate, anyways these ones I’ve chosen are adjustable. If people have more time, or more skills you can have the extra chains and clasps to DIY there own lengths. If you have the extra decorative chains, you can even add a layered effect with multiple strands on a necklace or bracelet. You can use heart shaped bowls to organize the charms and keep it on theme.

Pro Tip: Provide small jewelry bags or boxes for guests to store their creations or gift them to someone special!

This was my first time visiting Keelung, Taiwan! I This was my first time visiting Keelung, Taiwan! It was a quick daytrip.

We took bus 1579, it was only 48 nt ($1.51 usd) round trip for (fare varies depending on where your leaving from).

I wanted to catch the last of Home, Eva Armisén exhibit at the Keelung museum of art! She’s a whimsical and colorful, Spanish painter, and I adore how fun, yet meaningful her work is, emphasizing on the beauty in the mundane.

I enjoyed the exhibit so much. And I’m glad I was able to catch it on its last weekend. It’s pure joy.

We didn’t really plan much. Besides eating the famous scallion pancakes. Theyre so addictive and only 20ntd ($0.63 usd) each. I really want to go back soon haha.

I didn’t do much else in research for food, so some of the other places I tried were only average. As you can tell from my face. Had to keep it real bc thats the truth when traveling you wont like everything you try.

Though the exception was the douha/tofu pudding, I’m very picky about it. But I loved it, and so unique bc you can add lemon into it and it tastes so refreshing.

There’s def a few places I didn’t manage to go to. But I’ll save it for another trip.

I’ve been using these TTM black charcoal sheet mas I’ve been using these TTM black charcoal sheet masks for years!! It’s a thick high quality with loads of serum that delivers the results you want. It cleans your pores and removes excess sebum without irritating or drying your skin out.

When I had acne I religiously used them almost everyday, and it kept my skin hydrated while getting rid of acne. It’s the same packaging in green.

I got this box at Costco. But they also sell smaller boxes at Watsons and Poya. The full Costco skincare haul is on my YT. This is not a sponsored post I only share things I genuinely love and use!

I don’t see enough Taiwanese brands being hyped up. If you want to see more comment and make sure to follow me @iamkellytang !
